SPREE PARK

Created in 1969 in the heart of the GDR, Spree Park covers 29.5 hectares of land and is the only amusement park in Berlin. It will have the merit of surviving the fall of the wall in 1989. However, its activity will cease in 2001 due to bankruptcy.
Now abandoned, the park lets the ghosts of the past and the wild grasses take over. Rehabilitation? Transformation into a museum? Like a nonchalant city in reconstruction, its future remains uncertain....
